Let me tell you about an incident at the Newmarket junction in Dhaka - I was standing and eating guava paste. Rows and rows of rickshaws lined the side. A man came and said to the rickshaw puller, ‘Mama, should I go to Farmgate?’  The rickshaw puller replied- ‘No, I’m not going to Farmgate.’ I turned my head and looked at the rickshaw puller with perfect English! He looked at me and smiled. He started saying again- ‘I want to go to Mirpur’. I was just laughing when I heard his words. But there was a sudden pull inside his chest.
